Translating English Habitual -ing Participles

In English, habitual participles often end in -ing. They can be translated into Hindi using a Hindi habitual participle.

Examples:

इस शोध से कोई आश्चर्य करने वाली बात सामने नहीं आई – “Nothing surprising came forward from this study”

The previous example has a habitual participle “surprising”, i.e. “something that surprises”.

यह हल सभी पक्षों को संतुष्ट करने वाला है – “This solution is satisfying to all sides”

There is also a suffix in Hindi, –जनक, which is equivalent: आश्चर्यजनक, etc.
